BP winked at the EV era with Tesla Superchager electric charging stations

The importance of the issue stems from the fact that Tesla Supercharger stations will be used for the first time under the roof of another brand such as BP. Of course, it is even more meaningful that an important brand of the oil era like BP is investing in this business. As you know, BP is not just a company with gas stations. In this sense, the British company has important investments such as oil refineries and oil extraction facilities all over the world.

Apple quietly solved the three-year-old problem of iOS!

With the iOS 17.1 update, Apple has quietly resolved a WiFi vulnerability that has been going on for three years. Here are the details.

Of course, the BP Pulse brand stands out here. Despite all its active ties with oil and petroleum products, the company has been investing in the electric car market for many years. In this sense, BP Pluse is seeking to become widespread in the US with its charging stations.

Currently, there are 28 BP Pulse electric charging stations with DC ports in the US. However, the US is among the countries where competition for electric charging stations is at the highest level. In this sense, even the smallest competitor dominating the market has 2000 charging points.

That’s why the company decided to buy a $ 100 million Tesla Spercharger station. Thus, the British Oil giant will have the possibility of approaching its competitors in the electric car charging station race. But how many Tesla Superchargers can BP buy with 100 million dollars? Although device installation and tax rates are different in each state, it is estimated that approximately 1000 Superchargers will be purchased. This is a significant growth for BP Pulse.

Despite such a large network of charging stations in the US, there are still queues for electric charging stations in certain areas. Tesla Supercharger stations to be acquired by BP are capable of providing up to 250 kW of power.

So do you think this agreement between BP and Tesla is a sign that an era is closing? We are waiting for your comments.
